Multi-faceted line drawings

I've always been fascinated by the structures of rock crystals, and have recently been experimenting by capturing their angular, organic forms with black ink. By using a watercolour wash behind the lines, I wanted to evoke the luminescence of crystals such as amethyst, with the colour glowing through the rock's structure.
